Juno Chart for May

Lots of good new stuff this month with a re-release from Mark Broom and timely represses from British Murder Boys and Blawan - the latter of which I was just about to buy from Discogs for a silly price!

Decoherence 33

Here's a new 60 minute mix, my first of 2013. The vinyl was mixed in one take using 3 decks and I've added some extra stretched samples from some of tracks over the top.  It's wilfully doom laden and intense in atmosphere and very layered. I've tried to move as far away as possible from a seamless computer  studio mix and I've packed in over 30 tracks and aimed for more of a dynamic, immediate gig feel with a few extra production bits thrown in.

The track selection consists of material from the depths of my vinyl collection alongside tracks from 2012 which I haven't used in a mix before and some brand new releases.

The influential spirit of Surgeon and Regis unashamably hangs over the mix which I think is no bad thing - both are true inspirations.

Gnosis Records Night

My first gig of 2013 with be a vinyl DJ set at the Gnosis Records night at the Edge of the Wedge in Southsea on Saturday May 25th along side Rich Jones, Séjon and Stu Bryan.

Juno Techno Chart for April

I've been on a new vinyl buying spree ahead of my DJ set at Subconscious Underground at The Loft Studios in London in July (full details to follow soon). I'll also be doing a new mix to coincide with it.
I have also been picking up some vinyl from 2012 that I missed out on first time round by Regis, Karenn, and Ed Chamberlain which may get a run out as well in London.
